Apartment Description
We don't just rent apartments. We are Midtown's premier social apartment community where neighbors connect and thrive. Nestled on vibrant West Peachtree Street, Society Atlanta invites you to experience luxury living in the heart of Midtown Atlanta.... This is where culture and community meet, just steps from iconic destinations like Colony Square, the Fox Theater, and Ponce City Market. Thoughtfully designed for comfort and connection, Society Atlanta offers a unique lifestyle that reflects the energy and spirit of the city. With stunning skyline views, amazing amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere, we're here to help you live your best life in a place that truly feels like home. - We also offer a rent-by-bedroom program. Each resident is responsible for their own lease and has their own private bedroom and bathroom and common areas are shared.
Gonna be honest, I put off writing this because I didn't want to be that person. But enough neighbors feel the same way that someone should put it in writing. I've lived here for like a year.
The apartment itself? Looks great, modern, well-designed. Zero complaints there.
Here's what gets to me.
Residents got notified the pool and outdoor area would be closed on a Saturday for a fashion show. Pretty annoying. Except when that Saturday came, the whole 8th floor — indoor lounge, private offices, everything — got taken over too. No heads up. And the people at this fashion show? They bought tickets. Outside people, paying to come into our building and use our space while we couldn't. That's the building monetizing amenities we pay for monthly and cutting us out.
It's not a one-time thing. Fitness classes get marketed to residents but are mostly outside gym members, with residents getting whatever spots are left. When it's over, those people stay. Use the pool, use the gym. Management is fully aware.
The cowork lounge got flooded by a broken pipe and sat closed for over a month. Not treated as urgent. Updates were scarce, nobody committed to a timeline, and if you reached out you got slow, snarky responses. Compare that to how fast a ticketed fashion show gets coordinated and all the comms on that.
Gym equipment: there's been a broken machine for months. It's under a separate team so nobody really owns fixing it.
Parking is $125/month, but the gate arm breaks constantly so the deck's pretty annoying because it's either unsecured or you might get stuck for a few mins if a broken gate arm isn't working. They use a booting company that has incorrectly booted residents by accident more than a few times. $125 a month for that is a tough sell.
I'd genuinely think twice and look at what else is available at this same price. The maintenance team is great, the apartment is great. The management layer is it falls apart.
