The building is great, the staff is wonderful and very helpful, and the location is close to many things. There are great amenities and the apartments themselves are very nice. However as of this year, the location has gotten more and more questionable. There are many homeless drug addicts that frequent the area and live outside. For months one of them has been living at the bus stop right across the street from the apartments and you can hear her screaming in agitation frequently throughout the... day and night. Beware of taking any apartment that faces Walmart, especially on the lower floors because you absolutely will hear every single activity going on outside, and screaming drug addicts will become your new alarm clock. To be paying so much for apartments, the surrounding neighborhood is definitely not the “luxury” you’d expect. You’re fine within the building though. If you care about your sleep, do yourself a favor and move somewhere else. Unless you live on the side of the building that isn’t next to the Walmart you won’t be getting much. You will clearly and loudly hear every ambulance that passes by (which happens often in this area), every vehicle, and every screaming addict every single day. Not to mention there are some interesting characters that hang around the sprouts area who may harass you for money or yell at you because they are not mentally well. It’s apparent that only so much can be done in these situations, so again if you want to live in a less chaotic area, move somewhere else.

This place is awful. Keys never work. Homeless people in the stairs. Hot tub and pool never work. Bad living experience.

The staff are very nice but that’s the only good thing about this place. It’s always loud at night, wall is so thin, and the maintenance team came into my apartment and woke me up around 3am to fix my toilet after I filed a maintenance report which is unbelievable. I was also charged for a $200 for getting my stove fixed (which didn’t work before I moved in). Lots of hidden fees. I can’t wait to move out by the end of this year

Current undervalued resident for 3.5 yrs moved in July 2017. Corporate office is extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. Reported loud knocking walls due to plumbing issues back in Feb 2021, they are still knocking to this day May 28, 2021. I have not been properly listen too, transferred timely, nor compensated for my constant aggervation. I work remotely, so this nightmare has to end. Don't waste your time or money look elsewhere...these apts have gone downhill quick in less than 4yrs!!!

My husband and I and our two young kids lived at Point on Scott for a year while I was completing a postdoc at Emory. It was truly our home away from home and we miss it. The apartment was fantastic, nice layout and top-notch finishes and appliances. I really appreciated the in unit washer/dryer with a 4-year-old and 1-year-old.
The amenities were a major perk; we loved the pool and spa, gym, courtyard, and game room. The common areas were always clean and smelled nice (this has not been true... of a lot of places we’ve lived). And the location was perfect for us, easy access to Emory and right on the Emory shuttle line, as well as a short drive to downtown and awesome attractions like the aquarium, zoo, Fernbank museum, botanical gardens, and Piedmont Park. Not to mention walking distance to Sprouts and Walmart along with several good restaurants.
The staff were outstanding and responsive, especially Keyon. Our 4-year-old had a medical emergency on the day of our move out (of course!), and the staff stayed late for us to do our walk through and key return. A year after we moved out I found our deposit refund check in a stack of mail and called to see if I could have it reissued. I expected to be told no but figured it was worth a try. Keyon answered right away, said they could send a new check no problem, and even asked how my kids are doing. I was really touched that she would remember us after so much time and so many residents.
We have lived in quite a few apartment complexes in various cities and states over the past decade for grad school/work, and Point on Scott was by far our best experience. If you have the opportunity to live here, go for it!
